Mailing Services
We keep all of our short run mailers that come off of the iGen 4 in house. Our mailing software is in compliance with the USPS and the NCOA regulations. It allows us to barcode and address the pieces along with the super postage discount. We also utilize the extra large (14.33 x 22.5) drawer on the digital press so depending on the size of the flat we can get more run off an a sheet which also saves a lot on the click charge – allowing us to past the cost savings onto our clients.
Variable Data
Variable-data printing (VDP) (also known as variable-information printing (VIP) or VI) is a form of digital printing in which elements such as text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next from a database or external file.
For example, a set of personalized letters, each with the same basic layout, can be printed with a different name and address on each letter.

Joe Biden at Schine Student Center
Yesterday we received a print job from Syracuse University at 4:00 PM. It was a 40 page, full color publication for “Say Yes to Education, Inc.”, a non-profit foundation committed to dramatically increasing high school and college graduation rates for inner-city youths. The quantity was 500 pieces. Using our Xerox iGen4 digital press, these books were printed by 9:00 PM. The bindery staff arrived in the early morning hours to do the finishing work on the book.
These books were then delivered to the Schine Student Center for a special event this morning at 8:00 AM. The speakers this morning were Vice-President, Joe Biden who was joined by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Education Secretary Arne Duncan.
Time of receiving the graphics file from Washington D.C. to delivery for the event at Syracuse University, 16 hours and a couple pots of coffee. Pretty cool.

This short run press produces high quality digital images which rival traditional offset printing. Our ability to efficiently and cost effectively produce jobs has doubled while maintaining the quality that is important to us and critical to our client.
